Dr. Alicia Lo, DMD

After seeing how her family member is still able to enjoy food at an older age and going through orthodontic treatment herself, Dr. Lo experienced firsthand the significant impact of having healthy functioning teeth on life quality and the confidence having a new smile can bring and that influenced her to pursue a career in dentistry.

She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine after graduating with Bachelor of Science Highest Distinction from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Dr. Lo believes that a gentle and patient attitude is the most effective way to communicate and has received compliments on how she makes dental experience more comfortable which motivates her with joy. She looks forward to working with you and her foremost goal now is to work with her patients to improve their quality of life and receive the same positive feedback. To accomplish this goal, she makes every effort to address patient concerns and help them achieve their smile in the most caring and professional manner.

Dr. Lo actively participates in continuing education and is a member of the California Dental Association, the Southern Alameda Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, she balances her wellbeing through reading, yoga and exploring new recipes and local restaurants.
